Product Details

The Weld Racing V-Series 1-Piece Forged Aluminum Front Drag Wheel is the result of nearly a year of design and engineering development, making it one of the most innovative professional drag race wheels on the market. Built for serious strip competitors, this polished frontrunner wheel delivers the ideal balance of low weight and maximum strength.

Key Features:

  • One-piece forged aluminum construction — provides a lighter, stronger wheel with virtually no run-out
  • Polished finish — show-quality appearance built for race-day performance
  • 17 in. x 4.5 in. wheel size with 5 x 4.75 in. bolt pattern and 2.25 in. backspace
  • 73.00 mm center bore
  • SFI 15.1 and SFI 15.2 certified — meets and exceeds SFI safety specifications for spindle mount front drag applications
  • Mag-style short shank lug nuts required for 5-lug applications (.500 in. x .680 in. diameter)
  • Includes center caps and valve stems
  • Drag strip use only
  • Made in Kansas City, USA
  • Sold individually

The V-Series Frontrunner follows in the race-winning heritage of the Weld Magnum and AlumaStar wheels, engineered to help high-horsepower drag vehicles achieve faster quarter-mile times. The forged construction retains structural integrity under extreme strip conditions, delivering higher strength and stability compared to cast alternatives.
