The QA1 27A953-6M is a stock mount monotube shock absorber from QA1's 27A Series, engineered for circle track racing classes that demand IMCA-legal sealed performance. Built on the same proven platform as QA1's trusted 26 Series, the 27A Series adds a stock mount configuration and Sealed Hyperscrew valving, making it legal for IMCA Southern Sport Mod and other sanctioned class competition.

Key Features:

• Monotube design with a zinc-plated steel body for corrosion resistance and long service life
• 46mm hard anodized piston for consistent, precise damping performance
• Sealed Hyperscrew valving (27A Series) — IMCA legal and sealed per sanctioning body requirements
• Stud/T-Bar mounting configuration for direct stock mount fitment
• Collapsed length: 10.13 inches / Extended length: 15.67 inches
• Valving: 3-6M — linear damping curve for stable, predictable handling
• Linear valving provides a more stable car and allows the driver to better feel suspension feedback
• Popular choice for street stocks, hobby stocks, mini stocks, and other stock mount classes
• Racer revalveable and rebuildable for long-term serviceability

The 27A Series shock is backed by QA1's limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Designed and built to deliver unparalleled repeatability on the track, this shock is a go-to option for racers competing under IMCA and similar sanctioning body rules.
