Product Details

The QA1 27A883-5M is a stock-mount monotube shock absorber from QA1's 27 Series, purpose-built for circle track racing and engineered to meet IMCA sanctioning body requirements. This sealed shock comes ready to race directly out of the box, with no modifications permitted, ensuring a level playing field on the track.

The 27 Series builds on the proven performance of QA1's renowned 26 Series, adding a zinc-plated steel body and a 46mm hard-anodized piston for enhanced durability and consistent damping performance under demanding race conditions. The monotube design provides superior heat dissipation compared to twin-tube alternatives, keeping damping forces consistent lap after lap.

Key Features:

  • Compressed Length: 12.8 inches
  • Extended Length: 21.38 inches
  • Valving: 3-5M (3 compression / 5 rebound)
  • Mounting Style: Stud top / Polyurethane bushing bottom
  • Body Material: Zinc-plated steel
  • Piston: 46mm hard-anodized
  • IMCA Sealed: Factory sealed to comply with IMCA rules
  • Stock mount design for straightforward, bolt-in installation
  • Multiple valving options available across the 27 Series lineup

Designed and built by QA1 Precision Products, a trusted name in performance suspension for circle track, drag racing, and street performance applications. The 27A883-5M is an excellent choice for IMCA-legal classes that demand a reliable, consistent, and rules-compliant shock absorber.

Price of the K&N Air Filter that I ordered was the best that I found on the web! Ordering was a snap and the email updates were always very prompt, will order parts from these guys in the future for sure!

These people had the lowest price on the Weathertech floor mats for my new Jeep Wrangler. Got them quick with no issues whatsoever! I will for sure be shopping with Autoplictiy in the future! PS...My order number is 910

Almost 50% off the product right from the start and they don't make up for it in shipping cost! Order shipped very quickly. So far, impressive business. I will come here first from now on. Thanks!!!
