Product Details

The QA1 27953-5M is a 27 Series stock mount monotube shock absorber featuring a 10.13-inch compressed length and 15.67-inch extended length, with a Stud/T-Bar upper mount configuration and a 3-5M valving (3 compression / 5 rebound). Designed as a direct stock mount replacement, the 27 Series delivers performance-oriented damping in a bolt-in package.

Key Features:

  • Monotube design — single-tube construction for superior heat dissipation and consistent damping performance
  • Zinc plated steel body — corrosion-resistant finish for long-term durability
  • 46mm hard anodized piston — large-diameter piston for improved fluid flow and response
  • Multiple valving options available — this unit features 3C/5R (3 compression / 5 rebound) linear valving
  • Stud/T-Bar upper mount — stock-style mounting for straightforward installation
  • Compressed length: 10.13 inches / Extended length: 15.67 inches
  • 100% dyno tested and serialized — every unit verified for consistent performance before leaving the factory
  • Made in the USA

The 27 Series builds on the proven foundation of QA1's 26 Series, adding a stock mount option that makes it an ideal upgrade for enthusiasts who want improved damping without custom fabrication. Backed by QA1's industry-leading limited lifetime warranty when registered at QA1.net.
