The QA1 27686-7M is a 27 Series stock mount monotube shock absorber designed for circle track racing applications requiring OEM-style mounting. Built on the proven foundation of the QA1 26 Series, the 27 Series delivers the same performance-oriented monotube design in a package engineered to fit factory shock mount locations.

This shock features a zinc-plated steel body for corrosion resistance and a 46mm hard-anodized piston for precise, consistent damping force. The linear valving configuration (6 compression / 7 rebound) provides a stable, predictable damping curve that allows full suspension control at low shaft speeds without generating excessive forces at high shaft velocities — giving the driver better feedback and feel.

The Hyperscrew adjuster allows on-car revalving and rebuilding, making this shock fully racer-serviceable. The upper mount uses a T-Bar configuration with a polyurethane lower bushing for durable, precise chassis connection. At 13.35 inches collapsed and 22.55 inches extended, this shock fits a wide range of GM mid and full-size rear applications common in stock-class racing.
