QA1 26V96-3M 26 Series Monotube Shock Absorber 9in Stroke Schrader Valve 6C/3MR Steel

The QA1 26V96-3M is a 26 Series one-piece monotube shock absorber built for circle track racing. With a 9-inch stroke, a compressed height of 15.4 inches and an extended height of 24.63 inches, this shock features eyelet-top and eyelet-bottom mounting and a 6C/3MR linear valving configuration.

Key Features:

• 2-inch O.D. zinc plated steel monotube body for corrosion resistance and long-term durability
• Schrader valve for easy, on-the-fly gas pressure adjustments between heat races and features to suit changing track conditions
• Deflective disc valving with linear valving for consistent, predictable damping response
• 46mm piston provides maximum car control across all shaft velocities
• Centerless-ground, gun-drilled piston rod eliminates rod flex and keeps valving steady and repeatable
• Racer revalveable and rebuildable for unmatched repeatability and long service life
• Can be run inverted to reduce unsprung weight
• Made in the USA and 100% dyno tested and serialized

The 26V96-3M performs best on rough dirt tracks and as an easy-up shock on dirt cars, as well as on bumpy asphalt tracks of all banking types. It is a popular choice among modifieds, late models, super stocks, and various other classes seeking consistent, tunable performance.
