The QA1 26V73-8 is a 26 Series large-body, one-piece steel monotube shock absorber designed for circle track racing applications. Built with a 2" O.D. zinc-plated steel monotube body, it delivers reliable corrosion resistance and consistent performance lap after lap. This shock features a Schrader valve for convenient on-the-fly nitrogen gas pressure adjustments between heat races and features, making it easy to dial in the setup for changing track conditions — no specialized tools required.

With a compressed length of 13.4" and an extended length of 20.63" (7" stroke), the 26V73-8 is configured with eyelet-top / eyelet-bottom mounts and a 3-8 valving specification. The large 46mm piston provides maximum car control across all shaft velocities, while the 15mm centerless-ground, hard chrome-plated piston rod eliminates rod flex for consistent, repeatable valving performance.
