QA1 26A96 26A-Series IMCA Legal Monotube Shock Absorber 9in Stroke 6-6 Valving Steel

The QA1 26A96 is a large-body, one-piece steel monotube shock absorber from QA1's 26A Series, purpose-built for circle track racing under IMCA regulations. It features a sealed hyperscrew gas port — the 26A Series variant of the standard 26 Series — where nitrogen gas pressure is permanently sealed and only adjustable by QA1 or QA1-authorized rebuilders, keeping racers fully compliant with IMCA and similar sanctioning body rules.

Key Features:

• Body: 2" O.D. zinc-plated steel monotube construction for corrosion resistance
• Stroke: 9 inches
• Compressed Length: 15.10"
• Extended Length: 24.60"
• Valving: 6 compression / 6 rebound (V6-6)
• End Fittings: Eyelet top / Eyelet bottom (Eye-B/Eye-B)
• Gas Port: Sealed hyperscrew — IMCA legal, nitrogen gas pressure factory-set

• Made in the USA

The QA1 26A-Series monotube shock is a proven choice for modifieds, late models, super stocks, and similar classes. It performs exceptionally well on rough dirt tracks, as a traction shock, and on bumpy asphalt tracks of all banking types. QA1 backs this shock with a 1-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
