Product Details

The QA1 26A73-8M is a one-piece steel monotube shock absorber from QA1's 26A Series — the IMCA-legal variant of the popular 26 Series. Built specifically for dirt and asphalt oval racing, this shock features a sealed hyperscrew configuration with gas pressure tuning disabled to comply with IMCA sanctioning body regulations. It is an excellent choice for modifieds, late models, super stocks, and similar racing classes.

Key Features:

  • IMCA-Legal: Sealed hyperscrew design with fixed gas pressure — approved for all IMCA-sanctioned events
  • One-piece steel monotube body with electroless nickel plating for corrosion resistance
  • 2" O.D. body with a 46mm piston for maximum car control at all shaft velocities
  • Linear deflective disc valving with 3-compression / 8-rebound (3C/8MR) tuning
  • 7-inch stroke — compressed height 13.09", extended height 20.57"
  • Eye-to-eye mounting on both ends for versatile installation
  • Centerless-ground, hard chrome plated, gun-drilled piston rod to eliminate rod flex and maintain consistent valving
  • Premium proprietary oil blend for fade-free, non-fading performance
  • Can be mounted upside-down with no change in rate to reduce unsprung weight
  • Racer revalveable and rebuildable for maximum repeatability and longevity
  • 100% dyno tested and serialized — Made in the USA

The QA1 26A Series is ideally suited for rough dirt tracks and bumpy asphalt tracks of all banking types, performing especially well as an easy-up shock on dirt cars. Its fixed gas pressure and sealed hyperscrew design make it the go-to choice for racers who need a fully rules-compliant, performance-proven shock with the proven valving platform of QA1's 26 Series.

Very pleased with my purchase and Autoplicity. Got the best price on the internet and received it very quickly. Product arrived just as discribed. I highly recommend Autoplicity for your on-line shopping needs.

Easy processing

The delivery service was total mess the boxes were damaged and one of the nuts was missing .

Thanks!!!

Autoplicity is AMAZING! Purchased a set of KC 57 Series lights for the lowest price around (almost $100 less than some other retailers were asking). Shipping prices were reasonable as well and my order arrived in only three days with standard shipping! Couldn't be more impressed, and I will definitely buy from Autoplicity again!

Easy to use, will definitely return to the site as parts are needed.

So far so good. Tool was priced nicely

I was looking to buy a gale banks header for my jeep. I came across this site th eir price was nearly $100 cheaper than any one else. Fast shipping too. Thank you.

Order has gone smooth so far. I wont know for sure until the correct part is delivered.

Couldn't choose any of my other amazon shipping addresses as my method of payment showed no payment method for any other address so I had to take shipment to my main address and now I have to drive the parts to where I need them 90 mins round-trip plus t

easy

Autoplicity had the best price on the part I wanted. It was shipped fast directly from the manufacturer. When I opened the box, there were some cosmetic blemishes, so I called Autoplicity at 6pm EST. Rob immediately answered the phone, looked at the pictures I sent him through e-mail, then forwarded the pictures to a representative at the manufacturer. Rob then called me back and gave me the name, phone number and extension of the person I needed to speak to. After giving my information to that person, a pre-paid return label was e-mailed to me from the manufacturer, and that same week, I had the replacement part in my possession. Great customer service!

Was able to find parts I needed easily and at a great price!

Placed order on Wednesday and item was shipped on Friday, could not of asked for faster service. <br>
