QA1 2698-5M 26 Series Monotube Steel Shock Absorber Eye/Eye Large Body

The QA1 2698-5M is part of QA1's 26 Series Steel Monotube Shock Absorber lineup — engineered to deliver high-performance handling at a budget-friendly price point. Built around a one-piece, large-diameter steel monotube body, this shock is designed for performance-oriented street and competition applications where consistent damping and durability are essential.

The monotube design separates oil and gas into distinct chambers, eliminating aeration and fade during aggressive driving. The result is more consistent damping force, improved heat dissipation, and a longer service life compared to traditional twin-tube designs.

Key Features:

• Monotube construction — single-tube design with separated oil and gas chambers for fade-free performance
• Large steel body — robust, heavy-duty housing for durability and improved heat management
• Eye-B / Eye-B mounting — standard eye-type mounting on both ends for broad fitment flexibility
• Collapsed length: 15.10 inches
• Extended length: 24.60 inches
• V8-5M valving — optimized for performance street and light competition use
• Budget-conscious price point without sacrificing performance
• Compatible with a wide range of custom and performance suspension applications

The QA1 26 Series is an excellent choice for builders and enthusiasts seeking a reliable, performance-proven monotube shock that balances cost and capability. The Eye-B/Eye-B end configuration allows flexible installation across a variety of suspension setups.
