The QA1 2697-5M is a 26 Series one-piece steel monotube shock absorber engineered for circle track racing applications. Built with a 2" O.D. zinc-plated steel monotube body, this shock delivers excellent corrosion resistance and consistent, repeatable damping performance on both dirt and asphalt tracks. With a 9-inch stroke, a collapsed length of 15.10 inches, and an extended length of 24.60 inches, it is mounted via eyelet-style ends (Eye-B/Eye-B) at both the top and bottom.

The 2697-5M features 7 compression / 5MR rebound (V7-5M) linear valving and is equipped with a hyperscrew gas port—a threaded port near the bearing end of the shock body sealed with an O-ring screw that locks in nitrogen gas pressure for consistent, non-fading performance throughout a race event.
