QA1 2696-5M 26 Series Steel Monotube Shock 15.10-24.60 Eye/Eye V6-5M

The QA1 2696-5M is a 26 Series one-piece steel monotube shock absorber engineered for circle track racing. With a collapsed length of 15.10 inches and an extended length of 24.60 inches, this shock features eye/eye (Eye-B/Eye-B) mounting and a 6 compression / 5M rebound (V6-5M) valving configuration, making it well-suited as a traction shock across a wide range of track conditions.

Key Features:

• One-piece 2" O.D. zinc-plated steel monotube body for corrosion resistance
• Deflective disc valving with linear/digressive (V6-5M) configuration
• 46mm piston for maximum car control at all shaft velocities
• Centerless-ground, gun-drilled piston rod eliminates rod flex and maintains consistent valving
• Hyperscrew gas port — sealed with an O-ring screw to retain nitrogen gas pressure
• Tunable gas pressure to adapt to changing track conditions
• Can be mounted upside-down to reduce unsprung weight
• Fully revalveable, repairable, and rebuildable for racer repeatability
• 100% dyno tested and serialized from the factory
• Made in the USA

The 26 Series is a popular choice for modifieds, late models, super stocks, and various other classes. It performs exceptionally well on rough dirt tracks, as an easy-up shock on dirt cars, and on bumpy asphalt tracks of all banking types. Each shock is sold individually.
