Rancho Suspension RS55836 RS5000X Gas Strut

The Rancho RS5000X RS55836 gas strut delivers improved ride quality and handling through advanced valving technology. At the core of this shock is Rancho's patented rebound valving system paired with a progressive compression phase design that automatically adjusts to changing road conditions.

Key Features:

• Patented unique rebound valving system for responsive damping control
• Advanced progressive compression phase automatically adapts to terrain
• 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving provides tuned performance
• Large 2.75-inch reserve tube for improved fluid capacity and cooling
• Application-specific valving tuned for each vehicle platform
• Protective boot included to shield against debris and extend service life
• All-weather fluid formulation maintains consistent performance

The RS5000X series represents Rancho's premium gas-charged strut line, engineered to restore original ride height while providing superior control over stock replacements. The larger fluid capacity helps maintain cooler operating temperatures during extended use, while the velocity-sensitive valving automatically firms up during aggressive driving and softens for improved comfort on highway cruising.
