EBC FA478X X-Series Carbon Disc Brake Pad Set

The EBC FA478X X-Series Carbon brake pads are designed for ATV and UTV applications requiring reliable stopping power in hot, dry conditions. These pads utilize a carbon-graphite formula which reduces heat generation and conduction, helping to keep both rotors and calipers cooler during demanding off-road use.

Key Features:

• Organic Kevlar-based material with high percentage of carbon granules
• R 90 approved for street use on dual sport motorcycles
• Lowest heat generation among EBC brake pad offerings
• Best when used for dry riding conditions; not for mud, water or sand
• Includes two brake pads, enough for one caliper
• Asbestos-free friction material for safety and environmental protection

The X-Series Carbon pads are EBC's most economically priced brake pad, ideal for sport/leisure use. The carbon-graphite formulation provides excellent braking performance while minimizing heat transfer to hydraulic components - a critical advantage during extended trail riding. These pads are coded red in paint finish and are equally happy on an ATV or MX or Enduro bike.

Note: While X-Series pads offer superior heat management, wear life may be shorter than sintered copper pads in certain applications, particularly on rear calipers under heavy use.
