Michelin 70883 Bib Mousse Front Tube Off-Road Competition Mousse

The Michelin Bib Mousse is an innovative tire mousse system designed specifically for off-road motorcycle competition. Constructed from multi-cellular butyl material, this foam insert replaces conventional inner tubes and provides a consistent pressure equivalent of approximately 13 psi, eliminating the risk of flats during demanding off-road racing.

Key Features:

• Multi-cellular butyl construction delivers puncture-proof performance
• Maintains consistent 13 psi equivalent pressure throughout the race
• Designed for competition use at speeds up to 80 mph (130 km/h)
• Front-specific fitment for optimal handling characteristics
• Includes Bib Mousse Fitting Gel for proper installation

Compatibility and Safety:

This Bib Mousse is engineered exclusively for use with Michelin off-road tires, including StarCross HP4, StarCross MS2, StarCross MH2, S12, M12, H12, Enduro Comp III, EnduroStar, Baja, and Desert models. The mousse is precision-shaped to fit perfectly inside these specific Michelin tire models. Using Bib Mousse with other tire brands can result in handling instability and premature mousse failure.

Important Limitations:

Bib Mousse is intended solely for off-road competition use and must never be installed on motorcycles for street or highway riding. Operating above 80 mph generates excessive heat buildup that can cause rapid destruction of the mousse and potentially result in serious rider injury. Complete installation instructions are included with each unit and must be followed carefully for proper fitment and performance.
