Product Details

The Koni 8040-1412SPORT Sport Series shock absorber is a twin-tube, low-pressure gas-charged damper engineered for driving enthusiasts who demand improved handling without sacrificing everyday comfort. Finished in Koni's iconic yellow exterior, this internally adjustable shock absorber delivers a performance-focused ride suitable for street driving, occasional track use, and vehicles fitted with performance lowering springs.

The Sport series is specifically designed to work with lowering springs up to 35mm below stock ride height, making it the ideal companion for suspension upgrades. Rebound damping is adjustable by removing the shock from the vehicle, allowing for precise tuning to match your driving style and spring setup. The twin-tube, low-pressure gas construction provides consistent damping performance and long-term durability.

Key Features:

  • Internally adjustable rebound damping for custom handling tuning
  • Twin-tube, low-pressure gas construction for consistent, fade-resistant performance
  • Compatible with lowering springs up to 35mm below stock ride height
  • Delivers improved road holding, reduced body roll, and responsive steering
  • Suitable for street and multi-use driving applications
  • Re-buildable and re-valveable for custom vehicle setups
  • Distinctive yellow exterior finish — a Koni Sport hallmark
  • Backed by Koni's limited warranty

Sold individually — a complete vehicle installation requires four shock absorbers. Always re-install bump stops to prevent damper bottoming when used with lowering springs.

The site is clear and easy to navigate. With so many places to get what I want online it is easy to make a mistake and buy through a shady site. I was buying an expensive item ($500) and wanted to make sure that I was not going to have issues. I did my research and read many positive reviews before making my purchase through Autoplicity. Autoplicity is as legitimate as they come. Things went very smoothly.

A few items could have a better description.

Good prices and shipping costs

Thank you

Very fast, clear and secure order placement but there was a problem with the mails. My shipping address was different than my billing address. On the confirmation mail the names were changed while your website showed it correct. It was a little confusing.

Best price Good website So far, so good.

easy

Awesome!

Autoplicity had the best price on the item I wanted. Order process was a little odd. I didn't get any confirmation of my order being placed. So 2 days later I sent an email asking if they had received it. They answered me very quickly, sent me an order confirmation with tracking number, and it turns out my item had already shipped so I had it the next day. So ordered 5/1 and had it in my hand 5/4.
