Skyjacker C140AKSS 4 in. Suspension Lift Kit with Softride Springs for 1/2-Ton Suburban

The Skyjacker C140AKSS is a complete 4-inch suspension lift kit engineered for 1973–1987 half-ton Suburban trucks equipped with factory 52-inch rear leaf springs. This all-in-one kit delivers a true suspension lift using Skyjacker's proprietary Softride leaf spring technology, providing improved ground clearance and a notably smoother ride both on and off the road.

At the core of this kit are Skyjacker's Softride leaf springs, which are manufactured from high-quality American steel. Each leaf is individually shot-peened with hard steel pellets at high velocity, compressing the surface of the steel to increase tensile strength and maximize spring life. The springs are tapered over their entire length, distributing loads more evenly and reducing interleaf friction for a controlled, comfortable ride. Bolt-style spring clips are used in place of traditional cinch-style clips to further eliminate binding and friction.
