The Skyjacker C260AKSS-H is a complete 6-inch Softride front and rear suspension lift system designed for 1969–1972 Chevy/GMC Suburban trucks. This full system pairs Skyjacker's industry-leading Softride leaf spring technology with Hydro shocks for a smooth, controlled ride both on and off road, delivering increased ground clearance and improved stance without sacrificing daily drivability.

At the heart of this kit are Skyjacker's signature Softride leaf springs, engineered with a taper over the entire length of each leaf to create more flex at the leaf ends. This progressive tapering distributes loads more evenly across a greater surface area and reduces interleaf friction and dig. Springs are individually shot-peened with hard steel pellets at high velocity to compress the steel surface and increase tensile strength, maximizing wheel travel and spring longevity. Proprietary bolt-style spring clips eliminate the binding and friction associated with traditional cinch-style bent clips.

The included Skyjacker Hydro shocks feature true velocity-sensitive valving that responds instantly to changing on- and off-road conditions. Whether navigating smooth pavement or rough terrain, the Hydro shocks deliver a stable, controlled level of resistance for improved handling, better stability, and maximum ride comfort. Teflon wear pads are included to further reduce interleaf friction over the life of the springs.
