Skyjacker C180AKS-H 8 in. Suspension Lift Kit with Hydro Shocks and Rear Springs for GM 1/2 Ton

The Skyjacker C180AKS-H is a complete 8-inch suspension lift kit engineered for 1973–1987 GM 1/2-ton trucks and SUVs. Designed with Skyjacker's Softride® leaf spring technology, this kit delivers increased ground clearance and aggressive stance without sacrificing ride quality on or off the road.

At the heart of this system are Skyjacker Softride® leaf springs, front and rear, manufactured with tapered leaves for a lower spring rate and improved suspension travel. The springs feature Teflon wear pads to minimize interleaf friction, bolt-style clips for further friction reduction, and shotpeened steel construction for enhanced tensile strength and durability.

Included Skyjacker Hydro 7000 shock absorbers feature true velocity-sensitive valving, responding to both on-road and off-road conditions to keep tires planted and handling stable at all speeds.

Installation Notes: Driveline and/or exhaust modifications may be required. A transfer case lowering kit (part # TCL15, sold separately) may be needed for this 8-inch lift application. Skyjacker recommends the use of a steering arm and pitman arm with an 8-inch lift. Sway bar drop and steering correction components are sold separately.
