The Skyjacker C180AKSD-H is an 8-inch suspension lift kit with Hydro shocks engineered for 1973–1987 half-ton Suburban applications. Designed for use with 56-inch rear springs, this comprehensive system delivers the ground clearance and aggressive stance needed for serious off-road use while preserving a comfortable, controlled ride on the street.

Skyjacker's Softride leaf spring technology forms the foundation of this kit, utilizing multi-leaf packs constructed from high-quality American steel. The result is a lift system that meets or exceeds factory GVW and load-carrying ratings without sacrificing ride quality. Included Hydro shocks provide hydraulic, velocity-sensitive damping to smooth out rough terrain and maintain confident handling in all conditions.

Installation Notes: A Pitman arm and steering arm are required for installation but are not included. A steering stabilizer is recommended when replacing worn components. Driveline and exhaust modifications may be necessary. A transfer case lowering kit (PN: TCL15) may also be needed. If equipped with a front sway bar, lowering brackets must be ordered separately. An optional 4-inch offset drag link (PN: GMDL4) is available.
