I haven't installed this unit yet, but I've used Truetrac units for the last five years in different vehicles. They work great for highway driving and driving in Michigan snow. I highly recommend the unit. It's dependable and predictable in the way it works. My only concern is that Eaton (Detroit) gives conflicting and confusing information on what type of gear lube to use their units. I've written them on two different occasions and they will not commit to a gear lube recommendation. All they say is to use mineral oil, (conventional oil, not synthetic, but what weight, brand or specific specification is not given). I have to conclude they're using it as a warranty exclusion.
