WeatherTech 51EJI33 TN TechFloor Expansion Joint Intersection - Tan

The WeatherTech TechFloor 51EJI33 TN Expansion Joint Intersection is an essential accessory for any TechFloor modular flooring installation in non-thermally stable environments. Engineered specifically to be used with WeatherTech TechFloor Premium Traction Square and Solid Raised Square tiles, these intersection expansion joints allow the floor system to flex with changing temperatures — preventing buckling and maintaining a flat, stable surface, much like the expansion joints used in bridges and road construction.

Each joint is engineered to allow up to 3/8 inch of expansion or contraction, giving the floor the flexibility it needs in areas exposed to temperature swings or direct sunlight. Expansion joints are recommended every 5 to 7 feet depending on sunlight exposure, with a minimum depth of 3 to 4 feet recommended for sun-exposed sections.

Key Features:

• Intersection joint style — designed for cross-point connections within the floor layout
• Allows up to 3/8 inch of expansion or contraction per joint
• Custom loop-and-tab attachment system locks tiles together without tools
• Each joint replaces a 3 x 12 inch section of floor (4 joints equal the footprint of one 12 x 12 inch tile)
• Compatible with TechFloor Premium Traction Squares and Solid Raised Squares
• Available in Tan — coordinates with matching TechFloor tile colors
• Must be purchased in quantities of 10
• Made in the USA
• Backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship
