Product Details

The COMP Cams 3110KT-5 is a precision adjustable double roller timing set specifically designed for Big Block Chevy engines with .005" undersized crankshaft bores. This timing set is engineered for 396-454 cubic inch BBC applications where the crankshaft has been machined .005" undersize on the snout, requiring a correspondingly smaller diameter timing gear.

Key Features:

  • Double roller chain design for enhanced durability and reduced timing chain stretch
  • Adjustable timing allows for precise camshaft advancement or retardation in 2-degree increments
  • 9-keyway billet steel cam gear provides multiple timing positions for optimal performance tuning
  • .005" undersized crankshaft gear bore specifically machined for undersized crank snouts
  • Heat-treated components ensure maximum strength and longevity
  • Includes timing set, cam bolt, and assembly instructions

This timing set is ideal for engine builders working with reconditioned or reground crankshafts that have been machined undersize. The adjustable design allows you to fine-tune camshaft timing to maximize horsepower, torque, and overall engine performance across the RPM range. COMP Cams precision manufacturing ensures accurate valve timing and reliable operation in high-performance street, strip, and racing applications.
