Product Details

The QA1 EXML7-8 is an EX Series Endura carbon steel male rod end featuring a 7/16 in. bore and a 1/2 in.-20 left-hand thread. Built on QA1's exclusive loader slot design, this rod end delivers a cost-effective alternative to alloy and chromoly rod ends without sacrificing strength or reliability.

The body is machined with a circumferential groove, and an injection-molded Reinforced Nylon 12 race with self-lubricating PTFE is locked into place — creating a fully self-sealing, self-lubricating assembly that resists dirt and debris intrusion. Unlike traditional pressed-in PTFE liners, this molded race design won't pound out under repeated loading, significantly extending service life.

Increased cross-sectional thickness throughout the body provides greater tensile strength, while the loader slot geometry creates metal-to-metal contact under heavy shock loads for maximum support — while still allowing smooth, low-friction articulation under light loads.
