Construction and Materials:

This exhaust valve features one-piece forged construction for maximum strength and reliability. Supertech primarily uses EV8 (21-4N) stainless steel alloy with application-specific heat treatments, though other specialized alloys are available depending on the intended use. For extreme high-temperature applications such as turbocharged or supercharged engines, Inconel 751 nickel-base alloy options provide superior resistance to thermal stress.

Coating Options:

• Chrome Coating: Widely used in performance applications for excellent wear resistance and heat protection
• Black Nitride: Advanced hardening treatment that creates a smoother surface than chrome, reducing friction between the valve stem and guide for improved longevity
