The QA1 XFR7 is a premium chromoly steel female rod end from the XF Endura Racing Series, engineered for ultimate strength and durability in demanding motorsports applications. This heavy-duty rod end features QA1's innovative loaded slot design with an injection-molded Nylon/PTFE race that provides superior performance over traditional three-piece rod ends.

Chromoly steel body - heat treated for maximum strength
52100 bearing steel ball - heat treated, hard chrome plated, and precision ground
Injection-molded Nylon/PTFE race - self-lubricating and self-sealing
Protective coating on body for corrosion resistance
Metal-to-metal support for heavy shock loads
Increased cross-sectional thickness for greater tensile strength
Won't pound out like traditional PTFE liners

Design Advantages:

The Endura loaded slot design features a significant groove machined around the interior of the body. The ball is inserted into this slot, then a Nylon/PTFE material is injected to create a race that keeps dirt and debris out while continuously lubricating the joint. This design provides added strength and significantly increases longevity compared to conventional rod end designs.

Applications:

Commonly used on 4-link suspension systems, ladder bars, and other high-stress linkage applications where strength and reliability are critical. The chromoly construction makes this rod end ideal for heavy-duty racing and off-road applications.
