Product Details

The Prothane 6-2005 Total Kit is a comprehensive polyurethane suspension bushing set engineered for 1985–1993 Ford Mustang models equipped with a manual transmission. This all-in-one kit replaces virtually every rubber suspension and drivetrain bushing on the vehicle with Prothane's high-durometer polyurethane, delivering dramatically improved handling precision, steering response, and long-term durability over stock rubber components.

Prothane polyurethane bushings resist oil, ozone, and UV degradation that cause factory rubber bushings to crack, sag, and deteriorate over time. The result is tighter chassis feel, reduced body roll, and more consistent tire contact with the road surface — without the harshness of solid metal components.

Key Features:

  • Complete total kit — replaces front and rear suspension bushings in one package
  • Includes manual transmission mount bushing specific to MT-equipped Mustangs
  • High-performance polyurethane construction resists oil, ozone, and UV breakdown
  • Tighter tolerances compared to OEM rubber for improved chassis feedback
  • Direct OEM replacement fitment — no modifications required
  • Includes grease packets and all required hardware for installation
  • Manufactured in the USA by Prothane

Designed as a direct-fit solution, the 6-2005 is the preferred choice for Mustang enthusiasts looking to refresh worn suspension components or upgrade a performance build. Each bushing is molded to OEM specifications ensuring proper fit and function throughout the 1985–1993 Ford Mustang platform.

Thank you.

fast and easy best pricing i could find

Great company to do business with! Ordered a Thule 916XTR bike rack for my car and their prices blew away everyone else on the 'net! Ordered on Sunday, they shipped on Monday and sent me a tracking number that night. Super fast shipping and great communication! I'll definitely be coming back to Autoplicity again!

Trustworthy seller. This is my second order. Got it quickly. good job!

Super fast shipping, easy to use site, would buy again from site

Just what you want from a merchant but don't expect; fast, courteous service and attention to the details of your order. I'm a happy consumer. Thank you, Autoplicity. I'll be back.

competitive prices and good selection. Will definitely look to this vendor when purchasing automotive parts in the future. I ordered a roof rack and it was very hard to find elsewhere and the few places I did find it, it was more expensive.. it was cheap and easy here. thanks :)

Lowest price on the Internet, good packaging and fast shipping.

Ordering was simple and shipped quickly. Received undamaged and exactly what i ordered. will order from them again.
