Product Details

The Spec Clutch SM493F Stage 3 Plus Clutch Kit is the flagship performance clutch solution for heavily modified street and race engines that demand torque capacity beyond what the standard Stage 3 can deliver. Engineered as the top-tier choice for high-powered builds, the Stage 3 Plus strikes a balance between extreme torque handling and real-world daily drivability — offering more manageable engagement and superior wear characteristics compared to the Stage 3.

At the heart of this kit is a carbon semi-metallic full-faced friction disc, a material known for its exceptional service life, high friction coefficient, and consistent drivability in a single package. The high-torque sprung hub features a double-sprung design with spring cover reliefs for added flexibility, while heat-treated internal components ensure lasting strength and durability under demanding conditions.

Kit Includes:

  • High-clamp performance pressure plate
  • Full-faced carbon semi-metallic friction disc
  • High-torque sprung hub and disc assembly
  • Release bearing
  • Installation tool kit

Intended Use:

  • Street
  • Drag Racing
  • Drift
  • Road Racing
  • Pulling
  • Autocross
  • Rally

Whether you're running a turbocharged street build or a dedicated race application, the SM493F Stage 3 Plus delivers the grip, durability, and pedal feel needed to handle serious power without sacrificing driveability.
