Spec Clutch SA493F-3 Stage 3 Plus Clutch Kit

The SPEC SA493F-3 Stage 3 PLUS Clutch Kit is engineered for heavily modified street and race engines that demand more torque capacity than the standard Stage 3 can provide. Delivering exceptional holding power while maintaining better daily drivability and manageability compared to the Stage 3, the Stage 3 PLUS also offers improved wear characteristics — making it a smart choice for drivers who push hard but still need reliable street performance.

This kit features a high-clamp pressure plate that increases clamping force beyond stock levels, paired with a full-faced carbon metallic friction disc for superior heat resistance and consistent grip under extreme conditions. The high-torque sprung hub and disc assembly helps absorb driveline shock and reduces chatter, contributing to smoother engagement even under aggressive use.

Kit Includes:

• High-clamp pressure plate
• Full-faced carbon metallic friction disc
• High-torque sprung hub and disc assembly
• Throw-out / release bearing
• Installation tool kit

Ideal Applications:

• Street performance
• Drag racing
• Drifting
• Road racing
• Pulling

The SPEC Stage 3 PLUS is the ideal upgrade for performance enthusiasts running forced induction, high-compression builds, or other significant engine modifications that exceed the torque limits of a Stage 3 clutch system.
