Spec Clutch SM583 Stage 3 Clutch Kit

The SPEC Stage 3 Clutch Kit (SM583) is engineered for heavily modified street and race engines that demand maximum holding power without sacrificing daily drivability. This performance clutch kit delivers a comfortable pedal feel and quick, precise engagement, making it a versatile choice for drivers who push their vehicles hard on the street and at the track.

At the heart of the Stage 3 kit is a high-clamp performance pressure plate paired with a 4 or 6-puck carbon semi-metallic friction disc featuring a high-torque sprung hub assembly. The 6-puck configuration is standard on most applications, while a 4-puck disc can be specified at time of ordering for specific setups. The semi-metallic friction material provides excellent wear resistance under both low and high stress driving conditions.
