The Spec Clutch SF872 Stage 2 Clutch Kit is a high-performance replacement clutch engineered for mild to moderately modified naturally aspirated and forced induction applications. Built around a pure Kevlar friction disc with steel backing, it delivers exceptional torque capacity — rated up to 530 ft-lbs — while maintaining the smooth, progressive engagement feel expected from a daily-driven vehicle.

Unlike race-only clutch systems, the Stage 2 strikes an ideal balance between street drivability and performance durability. The double-sprung hub with spring cover reliefs absorbs drivetrain shock and reduces noise, while heat-treated internal components ensure long-lasting strength under demanding conditions. The high-clamp pressure plate provides a firm, confident lockup without sacrificing modulation.

Installation Note: Unless using a new SPEC flywheel, the existing flywheel must be resurfaced prior to installation. A minimum 450-mile break-in period is required before full-throttle or drag-launch use. Flywheel not included.
