The Spec Clutch SM591 Stage 1 Clutch Kit is engineered for bolt-on naturally aspirated engines and mildly modified forced induction applications. Designed to deliver stock-like daily drivability with a meaningful performance upgrade, the Stage 1 is the ideal entry-level performance clutch for drivers who want improved holding power without sacrificing pedal feel or long-term wear life.

At the heart of the SM591 is a multi-compound woven organic friction disc featuring a carbon kevlar-based lining integrally molded for smooth, progressive engagement and excellent service life. The lining is bonded to a steel backing plate that provides structural strength under high clamp loads and elevated operating temperatures. A high-torque sprung hub assembly dampens drivetrain shock and improves drivability across all RPM ranges.
