The SPEC SH221 Stage 1 Clutch Kit is a performance upgrade engineered for bolt-on naturally aspirated and mildly modified forced induction engines. At the heart of this kit is SPEC's high-clamp pressure plate paired with a steel-backed, multi-compound woven organic disc. The disc features an integrally bonded steel backing that provides strength under high clamp loads and elevated temperatures, while the carbon kevlar-based organic lining ensures smooth engagement and excellent wear life.

The high-torque sprung hub and disc assembly uses a double-sprung hub design with spring cover reliefs for added flexibility, along with heat-treated components for long-term strength and durability. A release bearing and installation tool kit are included for a complete, straightforward installation.
