Product Details

The SPEC SD851-2 Stage 1 Clutch Kit is engineered for bolt-on naturally aspirated engines and mildly modified forced induction applications. Designed to deliver near-stock daily drivability with a meaningful performance upgrade over a worn OEM unit, the Stage 1 is SPEC's entry-level performance clutch and one of their most popular street-friendly options.

At the heart of the kit is a high clamp pressure plate paired with a steel-backed, multi-compound woven organic disc. The integrally molded carbon kevlar-based organic lining provides smooth, predictable engagement while offering excellent wear characteristics and long service life. The high-torque sprung hub dampens driveline shock and helps maintain that comfortable, stock-like pedal feel.

Key Features:

  • High clamp pressure plate for improved clamping force over OEM
  • Steel-backed, multi-compound woven organic friction disc
  • Integrally molded carbon kevlar-based lining for smooth engagement and long life
  • High-torque sprung hub and disc assembly for driveline shock absorption
  • Includes release bearing and alignment tool for straightforward installation
  • Designed, hand-built, and tested in the U.S.A.

Recommended Driving Applications: Street, Drag, Drift, Road Race, Rallye, Pulling, Autocross

The SPEC Stage 1 is ideal for drivers who want a durable, performance-oriented clutch without sacrificing everyday comfort. It is part of SPEC's full lineup of single-disc clutch kits ranging from Stage 1 through Stage 5, allowing drivers to step up in holding capacity as power demands increase.

Good

Fast service and shipping, Plus the lowest price for the high performance k&n air filter<br>I wanted.

very fast processing received product within a few days. fair prices. will do business with again.

I could not believe the prices they were offering. I ordered my items and saved a lot on shipping and items arrived the next day!

I was hesitant to order from Autoplicity due to the perception that the price was too good to be real (and not some scam). However, I read a few reviews on the internet and decided to take a chance. Once I placed my order I was sent a tracking number and received my car parts within 2 weeks. I was happy that I got the parts I ordered and the price was really low. Simple and quick.

Completely amazed by this seller. I recieved the rack in just 2 days and the price was unbeatable. I'm just stoked to have finally found a bike rack worth having!!
