Spec Clutch SA241 Stage Performance Clutch Kit - 1

The Spec Clutch SA241 Stage 1 Clutch Kit is engineered for bolt-on naturally aspirated and mildly modified forced induction engines seeking a meaningful performance upgrade without sacrificing daily drivability. Delivering approximately 10–20% more torque capacity than the factory clutch, the Stage 1 is the ideal choice for street-driven vehicles that also see occasional track, drag, drift, or autocross use.

At the heart of this kit is a high-clamp performance pressure plate paired with a steel-backed, multi-compound woven organic clutch disc. The integrally bonded steel backing provides strength under high clamp loads and elevated temperatures, while the organic friction lining delivers smooth, progressive engagement and excellent service life. A high-torque sprung hub with double-sprung spring cover relieves reduces driveline shock and adds flexibility, with heat-treated components throughout for lasting durability.

SPEC recommends resurfacing the existing flywheel prior to installation, or pairing with a new SPEC flywheel for optimal performance. A minimum 450-mile break-in period of primarily city and stop-and-go driving is required before full-throttle engagement or speed shifting.
