The Spec Clutch SHZ153H Stage 2 Plus Clutch Kit is engineered to bridge the gap between the Stage 2 and Stage 3 performance levels, delivering a 15–20% higher torque capacity than the Stage 2 while preserving the smooth, street-friendly engagement that SPEC is known for. With a rated torque capacity of 259 lb-ft, this kit is well-suited for modified and forced-induction builds demanding more holding power without sacrificing daily drivability.

At the core of the Stage 2+ is a multi-friction full-face disc that combines carbon semi-metallic material on one side and Kevlar® on the other — a hybrid configuration that balances aggressive grip with controlled engagement feel. The high-clamp pressure plate increases clamping force over OEM spec, while the double-sprung hub with spring cover reliefs absorbs driveline shock and reduces wear on the transmission. All components are heat-treated for long-term strength and durability.
