The SPEC SF503H-2 Stage 2+ Clutch Kit is a high-performance clutch system engineered to bridge the gap between the Stage 2 and Stage 3 lineups. It delivers the smooth, predictable engagement and excellent drivability associated with the Stage 2, while offering a 15–20% higher torque capacity — making it the ideal choice for moderately to heavily modified street and performance vehicles.

At the heart of this kit is a multi-friction disc in a full-faced configuration, combining carbon semi-metallic friction material on one side and Kevlar on the other. This hybrid compound provides the heat resistance and grip needed for demanding driving conditions without sacrificing the pedal feel expected on the street. The double-sprung hub features spring cover reliefs for added flexibility, along with heat-treated components for long-term strength and durability.

Installation Note: Unless using a new SPEC flywheel, the existing flywheel must be resurfaced prior to installation. A minimum 450-mile break-in period is required — primarily city and stop-and-go driving — before full-throttle engagement, drag launching, or speed shifting. Failure to complete the break-in will hinder clutch performance and void the warranty.
