Ksport CMT191-DR Version DR Drag Racing Coilover Kit with Damping - 36-Way

The Ksport Version DR Coilover Kit (CMT191-DR) is purpose-built for drag racing applications, engineered from the ground up to help reduce elapsed times (E.T.) and improve 60-foot launch numbers. Built upon Ksport's race-proven Version RR coilover platform, the Version DR features critical internal modifications specifically tailored to handle the demanding forces of drag strip competition.

Drag-Optimized Spring Rates & Valving:

Each Version DR kit is custom-valved for drag racing, with spring rates carefully selected to maximize traction and regulate weight transfer during launch. Ksport engineers the spring rate and valving configuration differently depending on whether the vehicle is FWD, RWD, or AWD, ensuring the correct weight transfer characteristics for each drivetrain layout. This is not a universal tune — it is application-specific engineering.

Key Features:

• 36 levels of damping adjustment for precise tuning of compression and rebound to match track conditions
• Monotube shock construction for superior heat dissipation, finer damping resolution, and improved consistency over extended runs compared to twin-tube designs
• Pillowball upper mounts (on applicable McPherson strut vehicles) featuring Ksport's patented bearing design to reduce noise during steering while improving steering feel and response
• Custom drag-specific valving optimized for weight transfer and traction off the line
• Application-specific spring rates tailored to FWD, RWD, or AWD configurations
• 12-month warranty covering manufacturer defects

Important: The Ksport Version DR is a dedicated competition coilover and is not intended for daily street driving use. For best results, professional installation and corner-weight tuning are recommended.
