The Weld Racing RT-S S71 brings championship-proven racing wheel technology to the street in a budget-friendly, three-piece modular design. Built around a forged billet center and cold-forged rim shells, the S71 is assembled using Weld's unique welded construction process — delivering a superior strength-to-weight ratio that serious performance enthusiasts demand. This specific wheel features a black anodized center in a 17" x 5.5" size with a 5 x 4.5" bolt circle and 3.30" rear spacing, configured with the Medium Pad height for compatibility with a wide range of high-performance factory and aftermarket brake systems.

Medium Pad Brake Clearance:

Weld's RT-S S71 is offered in three distinct mounting pad heights to precisely clear specific brake setups:

  • Low Pad — Designed for drum brakes, early disc brakes, and aftermarket drag racing brake systems
  • Medium Pad (This Wheel) — Fits high-performance factory brake systems first introduced in 1965 on Corvettes and found on performance vehicles from the late 1980s onward, as well as many aftermarket brake systems
  • High Pad — Engineered for modern fixed opposed-piston calipers, including factory Brembo systems and road racing aftermarket systems from Baer, Brembo, Wilwood, and others
