Prothane 4-1605-BL Polyurethane Shifter Bushing Kit for Dodge Neon 1995-2005

The Prothane 4-1605-BL is a polyurethane shifter bushing kit designed to eliminate the vague, sloppy feel common in front-wheel-drive manual transmissions — particularly as the factory rubber bushings age or wear from aggressive driving. By replacing soft OEM rubber with Prothane's durable black polyurethane, this kit restores precise, confident shifter feel and tightens up the entire shift linkage.

Key Features:

• Made from high-durometer black polyurethane for long-lasting durability and improved shifter response
• Firms up shift linkage to reduce slop and vagueness common in aging front-wheel-drive platforms
• Outperforms OEM rubber bushings in both longevity and performance
• Direct-fit replacement — no cutting, trimming, or modification required
• An affordable performance upgrade for daily drivers and performance-oriented builds alike
• Includes all necessary bushings for a complete shifter linkage rebuild

Whether you're a daily driver looking for more confidence behind the wheel or a performance enthusiast who demands crisp, precise shifts, the Prothane 4-1605-BL delivers a noticeable improvement over worn or soft factory components. Installation is straightforward and requires no special tools.
