Product Details

The Maxtrac Suspension 300550 Rear Axle Flip Kit delivers a 5-inch lowering solution for 1988-1998 Chevrolet and GMC C1500 and C2500 2WD pickup trucks. This complete flip kit relocates the rear axle from below to above the leaf spring, providing an aggressive lowered stance while maintaining proper suspension geometry.

Key Features:

  • 5-inch rear drop for dramatic lowering effect
  • Complete bolt-on installation kit with all necessary hardware
  • Compatible with both 5-lug and 6-lug 2WD models
  • Maintains factory ride quality and handling characteristics
  • Precision-engineered for proper axle alignment
  • Not compatible with 454 SS models (requires kit 300560 and 710515)

This axle flip kit is designed specifically for GM C-series trucks and provides a cost-effective alternative to other lowering methods. The flip configuration improves the truck's center of gravity while creating the popular lowered truck aesthetic. Professional installation is recommended to ensure proper fitment and alignment.
