Product Details

The Weld Racing 96-59282 Prostar is a 15x9 polished forged aluminum drag racing wheel from the Weld Street and Strip (DFS Series) line. The Prostar is one of the longest-produced five-spoke drag wheels. It began in NHRA Pro Stock and moved on to muscle cars and hot rods. It has a 5x4.75 bolt pattern and 6.5 in. of backspacing.

Key Features:

  • Two-piece cold-forged and welded construction keeps the wheel lightweight while holding up to daily driving
  • Polished finish with a mirror-like shine
  • Push-thru center cap and valve stem included
  • Made in the USA in Kansas City

Specifications:

  • Size: 15 x 9 in.
  • Bolt pattern: 5 x 4.75 in.
  • Backspacing: 6.5 in.
  • Offset: 38 mm
  • Center bore: 80.77 mm
  • Load rating: 1,200 lbs.
  • Material: forged aluminum
  • Finish: polished
  • Lug nuts: mag style with a 1.310 to 1.375 in. shank length required

This is a good choice for street and strip builds, and for classic muscle car and hot rod projects. It suits owners who want the Prostar look and Weld's forged build.

They had an item that was somewhat hard to find at a reasonable price. Glad I found them.
