Product Details

The Weld Racing 71MB7090A68A is an RT-S S71 17x9 forged aluminum wheel with a black anodized center. It has a classic 5-spoke design and a 3-piece welded construction. The design gives a high strength-to-weight ratio for street and strip use. Weld builds its wheels in Kansas City, Missouri.

Key Features:

  • 3-piece welded construction: a forged billet center is welded to cold-forged rim halves for strength without excess weight.
  • Black anodized center: a durable finish that gives the wheel a modern drag-race look.
  • Classic 5-spoke S71 design: the S71 line is also offered in a beadlock version for heavy-duty street and strip applications.
  • Three mounting pad heights across the RT-S line: these help the wheel clear drum brakes and multi-piston opposed calipers.
  • Size: 17 in. diameter by 9 in. width.
  • Center cap and valve stem included.

Installation Note: Weld specifies that 15 in. diameter wheels in this line require shank-style lug nuts. It specifies that 17 in., 18 in. and 20 in. diameter wheels require conical-seat lug nuts.

This wheel suits drag racing and high-performance street builds. It pairs with narrower front-runner wheels for a staggered drag setup.
