<p>Disc Brakes Australia (<span class="caps">DBA</span>) is an Australian owned designer, manufacturer and marketer of disc brake rotors and brake drums which celebrates its 30th year of operation in 2007.</p> <p>It has grown with the market over three full decades, from a time when four-wheel disc were a rarity through to today’s almost universal choice of disc brakes front and rear.</p> <p>The company’s manufacturing plant is located in Silverwater (Sydney) <span class="caps">NSW</span> and has long held <span class="caps">QS9000</span> and <span class="caps">ISO9001</span> quality certification. It starts 2007, however, with attainment of <span class="caps">ISO</span>/<span class="caps">TS16949</span>, the <span class="caps">OE</span> ‘gold standard’ accreditation.</p> <p>DBA’s Sydney plant brings together the latest automated manufacturing techniques with a highly trained staff. The company also has field agents covering all Australian states plus the <span class="caps">US</span>, European and Middle Eastern markets.</p>

DBA 2307X Brake Rotors - Survival Series

The Disc Brakes Australia (DBA)44 Survival Brake Series addresses one of the most overlooked road safety issues: the stopping performance of 4WD vehicles. DBA has applied its award winning technology to ensure these popular vehicles have the safety to match their versatility. An important design feature is directional slotting in the two faces of each disc. These provide a great deal more pad bite and rapidly clear dirt and water, especially important in off-road situations. DBAs patented Kangaroo Paw ventilation does away with conventional vanes, using instead 144 precisely positioned pillars. The result is a stronger and more capable disc, with cooling efficiency improved by up to 20%.

The Kangaroo Paw design of the Survival Series also makes them an excellent braking system upgrade for anyone who tows on a regular or occasional basis. The Survival Series of rotors are heat-treated and arrive with heat paint to easily identify rotor temperatures.

So far it was pretty painless, let's see how quickly the parts arrive. A guesstimate of when to expect parts would've been nice. The only thing that wasn't amazing about the overall experience was that the tracking number provided did not work properly, and items did not say 'shipped' on your website until the day I received them on my end.

Autoplicity.com had the lowest price available for what I was looking for. Within 24 hrs I had an order confirmation and tracking information. I have no complaints, and will likely do business with them again.
