Federal Corporation is a Taiwan-based tire manufacturer with roots stretching back to 1954. Founded in Taiwan's Jhongli district as a rubber company, Federal produced its first tire in 1958 and has since grown into a globally recognized brand trusted by everyday drivers and motorsport enthusiasts alike. From the beginning, the company built its technical reputation through world-class partnerships: technical cooperation with Bridgestone Corporation from 1960–1979 and with Sumitomo Rubber Industries (Dunlop Tires) from 1981–2000 gave Federal the necessary and strong technical capabilities and know-how to produce its own brand tires.

Today, Federal has established a strong network of overseas distributors with more than 182 national/regional representatives throughout 121 countries.
