Power-robbing turbulence exists at every point that an exhaust gas "pulse" enters or exits exhaust components. Gibson Exhaust Systems minimize turbulence in two ways: patented Superflow technology assists exhaust gas in its flow out, and slip-fit connections reduce backpressure at the exhaust's joining points (i.e. each pipe fits into the larger opening of the next pipe).
