The ARP AM6770-1B is a high-performance replacement cylinder head stud designed for demanding automotive applications. This individual head stud features M10 threading with a length of 6.770 inches and dual thread pitches of 1.5mm and 1.25mm for maximum versatility.

Key Features:

• Premium grade 8740 alloy steel construction rated far superior to aircraft quality materials
• Heat-treated to 200,000 psi tensile strength for exceptional clamping force
• Thread rolled after heat treatment for significantly improved fatigue resistance
• Centerless ground for precise concentricity and proper alignment
• M10 diameter with 6.770 inch length
• Dual thread pitch: 1.5mm and 1.25mm

ARP head studs are manufactured to exacting tolerances using advanced metallurgy and precision machining processes. Each stud undergoes vertical rack heat treatment to ensure complete penetration and consistent strength properties. The post-heat-treat thread rolling process provides superior fatigue strength compared to pre-heat-treat threaded fasteners, making these studs ideal for high-performance and racing applications where reliability is critical.
