Product Details

ARP main stud kits provide critical engine block reinforcement by eliminating main cap walk and fretting while protecting cylinder block threads from damage. Engineered to meet or exceed stringent aerospace specifications, these studs are manufactured from premium-grade alloy steel and heat-treated to deliver a tensile strength rating of 190,000 psi.

Key Features:

  • 190,000 psi tensile strength for superior clamping force
  • Prevents main cap walk and fretting under high stress conditions
  • Protects cylinder block threads from damage during installation and removal
  • Meets or exceeds aerospace-grade material specifications
  • Precision-manufactured for consistent torque values and reliable performance

Application:

  • Land Rover 4.0L and 4.6L engines
  • 2-bolt main cap configuration

ARP main studs provide a significant upgrade over factory hardware, making them essential for performance builds, forced induction applications, or any engine rebuild where durability and reliability are paramount.
