MSD 8773 Zero Degree Timing Retard Module for MSD Ignition Controls

The MSD 8773 is a 0 Degree Timing Retard Module designed for use with MSD ignition controls and ignition boxes that feature built-in timing retard capabilities. This module is used when no timing retard is desired, effectively setting the retard value to zero degrees while still satisfying the module socket requirement on compatible MSD units.

MSD retard modules plug directly into the timing retard module socket on MSD ignition controls, allowing racers and performance enthusiasts to precisely dial in the amount of ignition timing retard their application requires. The 0 degree module is the ideal choice when running an ignition box such as the MSD 7AL-3 (PN 7330) without any active retard, ensuring the unit functions correctly even when retard is not needed.

Key Features:

• Sets ignition timing retard to 0 degrees — no retard applied
• Compatible with all MSD ignition controls featuring retard module sockets
• Ideal for use with the MSD 7AL-3 (PN 7330) and similar MSD ignition boxes
• Simple plug-in installation — no tools required
• Sold individually
• Racing use only — not legal for use on emissions-controlled vehicles

Part of MSD's broader lineup of timing retard modules, which are available in multiple degree increments to allow custom tailoring of ignition timing for competition and performance applications.
