Product Details

The Cusco 00B 817 A Hood Pin & Trunk Hook is a competition-grade body fastener designed to securely retain lightweight hoods and trunk lids when a traditional OEM striker is not in use. Engineered for motorsport applications, this hardware is an essential safety component for any build running an aftermarket carbon fiber, FRP, or aluminum hood or trunk.

Key Features:

  • Prevents unexpected hood or trunk opening caused by wind pressure and vibration at high speeds
  • Ideal for competition vehicles where the factory striker has been removed or bypassed
  • Constructed from lightweight aluminum for minimal weight addition
  • Universal design suitable for a wide range of vehicles with minor modification
  • Part of Cusco's trusted body fastener lineup used in professional motorsport

The Cusco 00B 817 A is a must-have safety upgrade for track day competitors and racers running lightweight body panels. By eliminating the risk of hood or trunk movement during aggressive driving, this pin-and-hook system helps maintain driver visibility and vehicle integrity under demanding conditions.
